Risk FAQ

Plain answers about privacy, permanence and the contract.

Is my character private?
Until you publish it, it lives in your browser's storage and nowhere else. Asking the server for a draft or a check sends the text there for that moment; it is not stored. When a model is configured, the text also goes to the model provider. Publishing writes it to a public chain for good.
Can I delete a published character?
No. You can retire it, which stops new versions and remixes, but the text stays on chain. Do not publish anything you may want removed, and never put personal details in a manifest.
Who can see my chat?
The log stays in your browser, and one button deletes it. Each message goes through this site's server to the model provider to get an answer. This site does not store it; what the provider keeps is set by the provider.
Does the content filter catch everything?
No. Word rules miss paraphrase and other languages, and a model check makes mistakes in both directions. It also refuses some harmless text. Flag what gets through.
Can someone publish something awful to the book?
Yes. The contract cannot read a manifest and no one can delete from it. This site runs its rules before showing an entry and hides what breaks them, but another site could show it.
Does endorsing or remixing earn anything?
No. There are no rewards, payouts or shares of anything here. A creator economy is an idea on the roadmap, and it is not built.
What could go wrong with the contract?
It is new. It holds no funds, so a bug cannot lose money through it, but a bug could record something wrongly, and it cannot be upgraded. You pay network gas for each transaction, even one that ends up being useless.
What does a character on chain prove?
That a wallet published those bytes at that time. It does not prove anyone invented the character, and it grants no legal rights.
Do I need $MORVIO?
No. Nothing on the site needs it today.
